How to decide gamenights
Why would I want to even think about it?
Because Avaluate said so.
Checklist
If the game you want for a gamenight checks off all these things, then that game is suitable.
Does the game have support for VIP servers? If not, then you must choose another game to play. VIP servers are needed for hosting gamenights.
Is the VIP server reasonably priced? Anything above 300 robux should be reconsidered, unless the game is really, really good.
Is it not an anime game? Anime games are not suitable in MainDab due to the hostile and unfriendly nature of anime games. It has been widely agreed upon in MainDab that games like Blox Fruits are cringe. It does not matter if you agree with this or not.
Is the game primarily targetted at people above 12-13 years old? If not, then please do not suggest it. For example, games like Pet Simulator X (which is over 400 robux for VIP) should not be suggested.
Is it not a horror game? If it is, then it will most certainly not be suitable for MainDab. If you think about it, horror games are pointless, no matter how "fun" it is with friends. Again, your thought does not matter here.
Is it not a rhythm game? Again, just like horror games, rhythm games are very pointless, no matter how fun you claim it is. Your opinion does not matter.
Is it not a hood game? Hood games are actually unofficially banned in MainDab, and any games with a majority playerbase that plays hood games will also not be allowed. Yes, that means that even Combat Warriors is not allowed in MainDab.
Is it not a city roleplay game? Games like Greenville are not suitable in MainDab. However, train-related games may be allowed in MainDab, such as Stepford County Railway.
There are also a few more optional things that you may want to consider:
Is it not an army game, especially border games? Please remember that MainDab does not sponsor any army group on Roblox. And besides, army games very rarely have VIP servers.
Take extra conderations if it's a fighting game you want. The more quirky fantasy things you have in a game, the less its likely to be acceptable. This means no Magic Training or and sort of werewolve game.
Think about realism if you want FPS games. The more realistic it is, the better. Avoid games like Arsenal, and consider something slightly more realistic like Phantom Forces. If you really want realism, then consider a game like REALISTIC WAR (VIP server is quite expensive).
Consider the game's difficulty. Games like Black Magic 2 (try understand their combo notation), Counter Blox (historically), or even obbies like JToH (no VIP, just an example) or sandbox games like Neo Warfare X are notoriously difficult for MainDab members. Additionally, for FPS games, you will want to think about a balance between realism and difficulty.
Does the game have a specific agenda? De Prise Isle Sanatorium is a very good example of a game with a very liberal, left-wing agenda. However, this does not mean you shouldn't watch out for other conservative games too. If the game you have in mind has a very specific agenda, then you might want to reconsider your game choice.
Examples of games that have been gamenights in MainDab
Despite the difficulties of playing the game itself and its chronic ping issues, MainDab members find this game oddly addicting.
A gamenight that most people in MainDab have at least participated in once, due to how often it used to be hosted.
An oddly chill but boring hangout game where you shoot Roblox R34 NPCs.
Another game with a somewhat high skill celling, but one that also depends on what weapon you use and how much credits you have.
Nothing happened on June 4th 1989.
