Risks of Exploiting
Nowdays exploiting comes with additional risks
In this section, we will discuss the risks of exploiting (and the exceptions Roblox has provided). By now, it is obvious exploiting in Roblox comes with additional risks compared to pre-2023.
Exception: exploiting in your own game
On 30 May 2025, Roblox stated that exploiting in your own game is acceptable.

Bans from Roblox
Roblox typically delivers temporary account bans if it detects exploiting.
While the seriousness of bans is not known, an example of how bans may delivered is:
First time: 1-day ban
Second time: 3-day ban
Third time: 7-day ban
Forth time: permanent ban
Roblox is also capable of detecting other accounts that belong to you and may take action against all accounts. If you were to exploit on an alternate account, your main account may be affected.
It is not known if Roblox uses IP bans or HWID bans for exploiting.
Bans from games
Games are now able to make use of the Roblox Ban API. The Ban API attempts to prevent any Roblox account belonging to you — not just your alternate account — from joining a game.
As such, games can truly "permanently ban" you.
Bypassing bans
The authors of the MainDab Documentation are unsure as to how ban evasion could be conducted. However, the following methods could have some degree of success:
Using a HWID spoofer - see this kernel mode spoofer.
Using a VPN or tunneling your whole device through a proxy to prevent IP bans. Free VPNs are readily available. If you have money, consider self-hosting a VPN or proxy service.
Do not add Roblox accounts using Roblox's switch account functionality.
Use a different Windows user account.
